The SDI Summer School of Public Service, based in Washington, DC, is an amazing opportunity for pre-college youth (’17 high school grads, rising seniors and accomplished rising juniors). It systematically explores government, related careers, public policy and relevant history. It teaches advanced leadership skills, moreover, statesmanship. The Library of Congress (photo on left) symbolizes the School’s emphasis on knowledge and the common good. Anyone who aspires to leadership or to maximizing college humanities or both should attend.
